About the Fredericksburg Farmer’s Market

The Fredericksburg Farmer’s Market is located at Hurkamp Park, at the crossroad of Prince Edward and George Streets. As an open-air market, the farmer’s market is open from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. every Saturday from April 16, 2022, to October 2022. Items vary depending on the vendor and time of year, but a general list includes loaves of bread, vegetables, fruits, cheeses, baked goods, flowers, plants, dried flowers, herbs, and seasonal holiday items. There is a Market Manager on duty every Saturday of the season from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to answer any questions about the farmer’s market.

How you get to the Fredericksburg Farmer’s Market from I-95, exit Route 3 east. Continue two miles to Downtown Fredericksburg. You will find the market at the intersection of Prince Edward and George Streets, outside the perimeter of Hurkamp Park. Due to this campaign and a grant from the Virginia Department of Social Services, the Fredericksburg Farmer’s Market is taking EBT/SNAP again at this year’s market. Eating fresh fruits and veggies as well as shopping locally is healthy for both the body and the community.

If you grow, bake, or craft and want to sell your goods, register with the Fredericksburg Farmer’s Market. To register can apply online at Manage My Market. You also have to fill out a Meals Tax Registration form and Business License Application.
