What Do You Need?

  • Outdoor Acrylic Paints
  • Plain Doormat
  • Paintbrush
  • Rainbow Pattern Cutout
  • Straight Pins
  • Scissors and Heavy-Duty Scissors
  • Permanent Marker
  • Tape

Create Your Doormat

Step 1: Begin by tapping your rainbow pattern over the doormat and tracing it. Then cut the shape out of your doormat.

Step 2: Now cut the rainbow pattern into strips and pin every other arc to your doormat.

Step 3: Using your acrylic paint, work into the doormat fibers by painting down. Let the first coat dry and then add two more coats. Repeat the process for each arc.
