The Mercedes-Benz C-Class was recently redesigned a few model years ago, and the 2021 model promises even more exciting updates. This year, a 12.3-inch digital driver's display/instrumentation custer is standard on all C-Class models, and heated front seats are now standard as well. Mercedes-Benz has also released a Night Edition for the C 300 sedan that features exclusive back exterior accents, black-finished 19-inch AMG alloy wheels, an AMG steering wheel wrapped in leatherette and simulated suede, and AMG sport seats. The Night Edition is available with black, blue, white, or blue exterior paint.
You'll find a premium interior that's filled with some of the best technology on the market including a standard 7-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto, and an available Burmester surround-sound system. You can also upgrade to a 10.25-inch touchscreen in upper models of the C-Class.
The C-Class vehicles first arrived on American roadways in the early 1990s, turning heads as the smallest Mercedes-Benz vehicles of that time (a status now held by the C-Class). In 1998, the C 280 debuted with a new V-type 2.8-liter engine and cutting-edge safety features like the BabySmart car seats, side-impact airbags, and brake assistance. Models released in the following years would feature auto-manual transmission, standard leather seats, and more engine options.
The C-Class lineup was expanded in 2002 with the addition of wagon and coupe models. Trim levels were updated, and the gearbox received a few timely upgrades as well. The generations that followed came with new technology, enhanced safety, and stellar engineering through each redesign, and the C-Class continues to shine within the luxury market.
